Halloween '08

So this year, we were a little worried that Halloween might get rained out....but luckily the skies cleared just as trick or treating time hit. Faedon clearly knew the drill this year, while Kellyn just sat in Daddy's arms and looked cute...

Faedon's birthday bash

So even though Faedon's birthday was a few weeks ago, his party was just today. He had 6 of his little friends over (in costume, of course) and they spent the entire time running wild (as you see in the pix, Faedon ditched the dragon suit by the time cupcake time came around). And Faedon fell asleep at the dinner table an hour after his party ended....so I'd say a good time was had by all....

Kellyn's workout

As kellyn is hitting the 2 month mark she is suddenly much more active and alert - so I can finally post more pictures of her with her eyes open! Here she is this morning doing a little tummy time and working on lifting her head to check out the world around her.

Our morning ritual

Every morning we sit and watch the news in bed while drinking enough coffee to help us overcome the "baby hangover" we have from getting up with Kellyn. Yet, somehow she always seems bright eyed and bushy tailed....how does she do it?!

A new superhero emerges...

Introducing Captain Flower Bib! I suspect his super power has something to do with cleaning up the messes left by small babies around the world, but I am not quite sure...

If Only I Had a Cup of Coffee...

Last week we took the ferry to Bainbridge Island for the afternoon. We stopped at a playground to let Faedon run around after his nap. While mom chased after him, dad found a couple of Adirondack chairs tethered to the dunes, and Kellyn and I sat and watched the waved. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon in my opinion.
