Our 3 year wedding anniversary is next week, but we've got a guest in town then, so we decided to celebrate it a week early by taking part in a coveted Seattle experience: going to a Seahawks game. This town loves their football team! Anyway, we got tickets in the "hawks nest" which basically is the crazy fan section of the stadium. What it lacks in proximity to the field, it makes up for in sheer enthusiasm, which was fun (although I did have Terry buy me a jersey and a hat so I could fit in with the crowd). Also interesting to mention....the food of choice at Qwest stadium is clam chowder versus hot dogs and there are no coke or pepsi products sold...only Jones Soda (small local soda company). Also, beer gets cut off at halftime to let people sober up before driving home. So all in all, it was a much more civilized experience than any other football game we've ever been to....and as an added bonus, the Seahawks won!
