Vikings!

This week, we took the ferry to Poulsbo for the annual Viking fest. (Originally, Faedon was excited because we were going to see pirates, but the semantics were soon lost on him.)

No pics of the actual festival, Faedon in particular, isn't fond of the camera unless he's otherwise preoccupied. So, here are a few from the accompanying carnival. Needless to say, our little Viking had a blast.

It all began with a ride down th eslide with mom. You can't see the look of terror on his face; it's amazing how fast that gets replaced with, "I wanna do it again!"

The only thing that makes standing in lines with an sweaty-pawed 3 year old, is the look on his face as he rounds every turn.

We passed on the parade, sensing an oncoming meltdown from just enough fun (and one massive burger and fries...) and headed for the truck. No sooner did we get them in their seats, both were out before we even got back on the road.

Later, Faedon conquered the deck and several pieces of furniture, claiming all he saw for himself -- the new leader of 2708 Warren Avenue, N.
