Today we went to the Seattle Center - which is the park that houses the Space Needle. Surrounding the Needle are several great destinations...the Science Center (Faedon's personal favorite), the Experience Music Project, The Science Fiction Museum, the Children's Museum (Faedon's second fave) as well as a carnival called the Fun Forest, that is open from May through September. Oh, and there's an AMAZING water fountain that plays music and does all kinds of neat tricks. Needless to say, it's a wonderful place for families...and the best part for us is that it's only a mile from our home.
So today we went to the Science Museum (the feature exhibit was right up Faedon's alley - it's called Animal Grossology - and it features all things GROSS in the animal kingdom. Like leeches. And the 4 stomachs of a cow.) And then we hit the Fun Forest.
