Arts and Crafts!

Yesterday we decided to do a few of the arts and crafts projects that Kellyn got for her birthday. First up: paper bag puppets! These things were adorable - and very easy for the kids to do. Faedon chose an owl to make.

 Next up was the Fairy Garden! We painted the pot and the little figurines (fairy house, toadstools, magic stones, etc.) and then placed them in the front of the pot with the fairy and her butterfly friends. And then, we planted some grass and beans in the back. Here are the kids working on getting the fairy part of the garden just right...

 

And then once that was done, we planted some seeds in the back. And here are the kids impatiently waiting for the seeds to grow. The idea that we may have to wait a few days to see growth is not making them happy - they want it now! ;)

 

And if all goes well, this is what we will have eventually!
