Halloween Fun

We took our annual trek out to Remlinger Farms this weekend - a farm about an hour outside Seattle that is a wonderland for all things Fall...pumpkin picking, corn maze running, animal petting, train riding, etc....

Lego madness!

The post birthday celebrations continue...and there are lots of Lego building going on. Here's Faedon with the Turbo Tank...an amazing feat of Lego skill!

Brickcon!

Today we took the kids to Brickcon...basically a Lego convention. Simply put, it was pretty crazy....but Faedon loved it.

A weekend in San Juan Island

Mom was here last weekend, so rather than stay in the city, we ventured out to San Juan Island - a lovely little island about 2 hours from Seattle.



While there, the kids ran around the local sculpture park - with Kellyn insisting on riding the GIANT iron horse...and Faedon being happier with sitting on the much smaller crocodile.





Mom and I also went whale watching, and saw a good 20 or so Orcas...unfortunately I didn't get very many good pictures of them...

Seattle Center

After the Children's Museum (see post below), the sun came out and the kids went and played in the amazing fountain...it's like constant fireworks set to music...

Arts and crafts

It started out a rainy, crummy day today. So, we metnup with some friends and went to the Chldren's Museum...where the kids ran wild for a while before settling in for some serious arts and crafts time....
