Move-a-thon

The kids' daycare held a "move-a-thon" on Thursday to raise money for a new playground. Kellyn had a great time running around and around...but the real star of the day was the celebrity sighting of Darth Vader! Faedon chose to do his run while channeling the dark side. We don't know why. We just know he had a lot of fun.

Weekend Getaway.

A few weeks ago, Ashton and I escaped to Langley for the weekend. We rented a little yellow Mini, dropped the kids off for a sleepover, and off we went to Whidbey Island. More specifically, The Inn at Langley.

The tub and shower had a full view of the water. Breathtaking, really.

The town's deserted at low season, which suited up just fine. We wandered around. Stopped for a drink. Had a lovely dinner. Then raided the local grocery for magazines and dark chocolate for some reading in bed.

Such a nice Valentine's Day Getaway.

Darth Vader!

Faedon loves to play dress-up...and we love to watch him battle unseen villains. So when he asked (begged) for a Darth Vader costume recently, we were powerless to say no. And as you can see...he cuts quite a fierce figure! Although his ballerina sidekick gives him a slightly softer image...
