For the third year in a row, we walked down the hill to the funky little neighborhood of Fremont for the annual Summer Solstice Festival. The main draw of the festival is, without a doubt, the 500+ people who ride their bikes in the parade wearing nothing but some cleverly applied body paint (although many people decide body paint is too much work and just go completely naked...ewwwww).
Another highlight of the festival are the crazy cars. There are a wide selection of "cars as art" to view.
This city never ceases to crack us up.

Speaking of naked bike riders....I've also discovered there are some running races that are "clothing optional" this time of year. Watch out for anything with a cute name like "bare hare" and the like!
