Not long after we first moved here, the Olympic Sculpture Park opened - which was basically a free outdoor extension of the Seattle Art Museum with a bunch of giant sculptures. And despite our best intentions, we've yet to make it to the park - even though it's really close to our house. So today while Terry was working on his lathe, I took the kiddos down to the park. Unfortunately it was a bit chilly today....but it was still worth it to check it out. We admired the sculptures for a while before sitting down here for a bit and taking in the view. It's truly a beautiful peaceful place tucked between the hustle of the city and the serenity of the water. Once again I was reminded how lucky we are to live in such a special city.
