So here's the pic we took when leaving the house...
And here is the "official" one he let us take at the school. As you'll note, there are 2 noticeable absentees in the second pic...they apparently only needed to take the car ride with him - but he was ok leaving them in the car while he dashed off to school.
And then this is him in his new classroom...minutes before he let us know it would be ok with him if we left before the bell rang...apparently now that he's in first grade, having parents hang around too long on the first day is really not all that cool. Who knew?
